This week Far North International attended the Independent
Home Improvement Show (IHIS). The show was held at the McCormick Place in
Chicago, Illinois during August 13th – 15th, 2019.
This event was all about retail, garden and hardware stores
finding new items and expanding their products. Far North International had a
wonderful time meeting everyone especially all the landscapers and
architectures.
IHIS is uniquely designed to be the industry buying source
exclusively for independent retailers in the hardware and home improvement
industries. IHIS was the one-stop location to connect
independent retailers with leading manufacturers for the purpose of creating
personalized, meaningful connections, developing strategic sourcing
opportunities and to walk away with top notch education in today’s marketplace.
IHIS is powered by the National Hardware Show (NHS). For nearly 75 years, the National Hardware Show has served the hardware and home improvement industry as the prime time place for face-to-face sourcing, networking and business development—always growing and expanding to keep you in the know and ahead of your competition. Seeing a new opportunity to provide an additional setting for independent retailers to get a more dedicated sourcing and business development environment, NHS expanded its portfolio to bring its industry experience and passion by launching the Independent Home Improvement Show.
